SOMMIER A L' ANCIENNE

--Fournitures

Baguettes de bois de 2mm
Lattes de bois de 10mm
Ressorts de vieux stylos.
Fil de couture
Colle bois
Tissus
Dremmel avec un foret de 0.6mm

--Réalisation

--Faire un encadrement avec des lattes de 10mm. Consolider les angles avec des morceaux de baguettes de 2 mm. Coller Bien laisser sécher ( figure1)

--Découper des baguettes de 2 mm aux dimensions de l'encadrement. Coller à l'intérieur du cadre (figure 2).

Coller des lattes de 5mm en travers de l'encadrement en calculant les espaces pour l'esthétique (figure 3)

--Fixer les ressorts sur les lattes à espace régulier (figure 4 )

Sur lepourtour du cadre faire des trous de 0.6mmceci pour permettre le passage d'un fil (figure 4 en rouge)

--Couper un tissus imitation toile de jute aux dimensions du sommier Coller sur les bords. Mettre de petites pointes pour unebonne fixation

--On peut laisser le sommier en l'état où le recouvrir d'une toile identique au matelas

--Réalisation
--Prendre les mesures du sommier et les reporter sur le tissus.Compter 1 cm de plus sur chaque côté pour les coutures.Il est toujours plus facile de recouper ensuite A faire en double (figure 1)

--Couper une bande de tissus de 2.5cm de largeur sur une longueur de: 2x longueur+2x largeur+3cm (figure 2 périmètre du rectangle)

--Surfiler les trois morceaux de tissus
--Coudre la bande de tissus avec le dessus du matelas On peut coudre à la machine mais attention aux angles.Couper l'excédent de tissus à 5mm. Nous voilà avec le rebord du matelas

--Coudre le dessous à l'autre côté de la bande mais à la main Arrêter à la moitié d'une largeur

--Retourner votre travail à l'endroit,repasser légèrement.

--Rembourrer régulièrement avec du crin où du coton Attention le matelas doit rester plat

--Coudre la dernière partie de la largeur

--Pour terminer prendre une aiguillée de coton et transpercer le matelas à espace régulier (figure3)
